Great video! And I like that you made statements without sounding super judgey like so many designers do. When they go "Ew that's so tacky!" and things like that. This was a very helpful video for people like me looking to take a comfy home and just elevate it a bit so it can still stay comfy but look a little more luxury. The only part is about the tv. Most people have tvs on stands in corners because it's the best place in the room for everyone to see it. If they put it flat mounted on a wall, other places in the room can't see it. And we tried the tv over the fireplace in our last house and it was way too high. Plus I couldn't decorate the mantle for holidays. So I actually hated that. I do think a tv mounted on a flat wall looks nicest but many living rooms just don't allow for that unfortunately. Above all else a house has to be functional and practical before the pretty.

I had a question about what color of adhesive film I should buy. My bathroom counter is in horrible condition and i wanted to sand it down smooth and apply a adhesive film. But this is my first time doing something like this and don't know which color to buy, My walls are a dark brown and the tiles are a lighter marble textured brown and the vanity is white with black handles. I don't know which color adhesive film will suit it best if its marble brown or marble grey or black. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you.

I think the breakfast nook in the sunroom is a perfect place to have a morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful views outside the big windows. It’s such a peaceful spot. Comfy chairs at the table would be ideal, can really relax at the beginning of the day.
